Charity Road Run
Sunday 15th June 2008
This year’s event will be based at the village of Beachamwell,
which is in Breckland, between Swaffham and Downham Market.
On leaving the village the morning run will follow go to the south east of Beachamwell and will include a new section before returning for lunch. The afternoon run will follow what was last year’s morning route to the southwest. Those completing the run will have covered approximately 25 miles. We are fortunate in having received permission from some farmers to use their tracks so a fair proportion is road. The rest of the run will be on relatively minor roads.
We plan to meet at 10.00am, set off at 10.30, with the day
drawing to a close around 4.00pm.
The Great Dane (pub and restaurant) will be open and offering
refreshments (varying during the day to comply with licensing
laws) for the start, lunch and finish. We are grateful of
their support. If you wish to book a lunch, which is strongly

All tractors must be entered on the official paperwork and
sponsored to a minimum level of £10.00. Frontier Agriculture
Ltd are sponsoring a trophy that will be awarded to the driver
of the tractor gaining the most sponsorship. All sponsorship
forms and money to be handed in on arrival at Beachamwell
on Sunday 15th June. This years benefiting charity
is the East Anglia Air Ambulance.
